A simple app to record screen in timelapse on MacOs and windows
Recorded long hours of video and waited for hours to render again as time-lapse? Record directly in time-lapse as you record a normal screen recording.
Speed up or slow down video by adjusting the framerate from high to low and further more by customizing the video output.
Recording is paused smartly based on inactivity, unexpected shutdown and screen lock
Removes load on the processor as there is no re-rendering of the recorded video and is 5X faster.

it's great! 5 tacos for delivering exactly what is promised at a great price point. And I can see the developer cares and interacts even though the project is small.
Thanks!
You can record your workflow or your day work and display it in a quick video. Video example here

Good but needs more basic features like recording single app and a particular region on the screen.
I randomly found this app by accident. Turn out it's one of the apps I really need in my workflow. If you do any projects and want to send your clients the entire process with sped-up timelapse clips, this app is for you! Otherwise, I'd use Quicktime player or OBS to record my screen then speed up the footage in the post then export the video, which takes a while. For the price.. I'd strongly recommend it!
I love Lapse, It's a pretty cool piece of software. It works as advertised and the quality of footage is great. My only request would be to add a GIF convertor and dual screen recording (currently you can record on the active screen).
Yes you can select one of the external monitors to start recording.
However, the support for single app recording is in the roadmap.
We didn’t implement a trial yet, but no worries—feel free to purchase the app. If you’re not happy send a short message. We’ll refund your order.
Lapse requires the screen Record permission in “System Preferences › Security & Privacy › Privacy › Screen Recording. For macOS 10.15 (Catalina) the screen recording permission in “System Preferences › Security & Privacy › Privacy › Screen Recording” is required too.
Yes we support for MacOs and windows.
